This is about my trip from Washington, DC to Longmont, CO…
After living and traveling around Africa for a few years, it’s time to live and travel in America. So from DC to CO I am riding my bicycle, camping in my beloved tent, meeting new friends, and taking some pictures along the way.

Mary! I hope you have a phone! ๐ I miss you—and will catch up with you soon! Take (or draw) pictures for me!!l And be safe! Remember to scream at bears, and avoid all deer in November!
Hope you’re still keeping strong, Kapsak. So I was thinking of going camping ALONE this weekend. Your cycling trip has inspired me enough. Please email\inbox me a check list for a well organised 1st camping trip.
Miss you so much, what’s your number??
I finally got to catch up on your blog today. LOVING it! I even had several laugh out loud moments while reading. Thank you for sharing this journey! I’m so glad there are people like you in the world that are willing to grab life by the horns and do insanely crazy, amazing things like this! Makes the world such a cool place:)
Mary,
I have yet to meet you, but I am so intrigued by what I have read within your blog and heard about you (from your family). My perception is that you are a free thinker with a very strong and intellectual spirit. Here are two quotes from a book that inspired me as I read it many years ago. May your ride be smart and strong with the wind at your back. Please get home safely; thereโs a lot of love waiting to be shared with you.

Looks like you are making good progress. I’m envious. I’ve driven across Kanas many times, but I’d love to ride it. It has such unique beauty. Best wishes from our family to you.
Good luck, Mary!! You have a place to stay in Denver. I think you are on a very noble quest, share with me what treasures you find on your journey. ๐
